Katie was First High Individual in Junior Beef, Fourth High Individual in Junior Swine, and the overall High Individual in the Junior Division. ■ ■ ► - -
The Rappahannock Junior Team was the Fifth place team in Beef. In addition to Katie, other junior.team members who participated were David Massie and Zack and Nathan Corbin.
In the Senior Division for ages 14 to 19, Justin Updike participated.
The Rappahannock 4-H’ers were accompanied to the State contest and coached by James F. Massie, Jr. and Scott Updike.
Katie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Updike of Washington.
