•The Rappahannock Monarchs' thrpe-game winning streak was snarpped Saturday night when they lost to the Woodstock Raiders 9-6 in a game under the lights at Bing Crosby Stadium in Front Royal.

;The Monarchs will next face Strasburg in a double header at RCHS at C p.m. this Sunday, July 28.

.The Raiders got out to a two-run lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Monarchs evened the score in the top. of the second inning on a hit by William Parker, followed by Paul Brown getting on first on a dropped ball at the plate on his third strike. Brooke Miller drew a walk, loading the bases. With Roland Harris at the plate, William Parker tried to steal •home on a passed ball and was tagged out; However, Roland Harris got a walk loading the bases again.
