Amissville Baptist Church’s revival is planned for September 22-25. Sunday morning, the guests speaker will be Craig Wilson from the Virginia Baptist Board. Sunday night will feature Jim Thompson, youth minister of Grace Baptist Church. Charles Chilton, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, will be speaking on Monday. Dr. David Fuson, pastor of Culpeper Baptist Church, will address the congregation on Tuesday. The pastor of Hume/Orlean Baptist Church, Gen. Randy West, will be our guest on Wednesday.
Mission Groups at Amissville Baptist Church will begin meeting on September 4 at 7 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Little of Seven Ponds Roads recently entertained Mrs. Mary Eleanor McKee from Topeka, Kansas and her son, Dr. Michael McKee of Reston, with whom Mrs. McKee was visiting on a vacation. After staying for lunch and an afternoon at The, Little’s log home, Dr. and Mrs. McKee then visited the Gray Ghost Winery, where the enjoyed a tour and tasting given by owner Cheryl Kellert and her daughter, Amy.
