The dedication will be held at the Skyland Amphitheater, milepost 42 on the Skyline Drive. In case of rain the dedication will be held in the auditorium of the Harry F. Byrd Sr., visitor center at milepost 51.
Immediately following the dedication, a bus and vans will be available to shuttle guests to the .Limberlost Trail. Park staff and Bell Atlantic Pioneers of Virginia volunteers will be available to provide information about the Limberlost area and trail construction project.
Shenandoah National Park’s new Limberlost Trail was inspired by disabilities activist Franz Stillfried, whose support for further accessibility within the National Park Service • sparked the project.
