Edward M. and Ruth F. Clark were honored on Saturday evening October 5 with a reception celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary given by their children at the Sperryville Fire Hall. The Clarks were married on Oct. 5, 1946 at the parsonage in Winchester by Rev. Ray Smuch.
Mrs. Clark is the daughter of the late Robert L. and Alice J. Frazier.
Mr. Clark is the son of the late Eddie J. and Mamie R Clark. •
In the 50 years they have two daughters, Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mrs. Sarah Brown and four grandchildren, Mrs. Edie E. Falls of Woodville, Richie Eastham, Amanda Brown and Bobbie Jo Brown.
