Upcoming Events

Safety Course Planned

A Hunter's Safety Course will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct 26 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. The course is a 10 hour course and everyone must attend both days.

Anyone between the ages of 12 to 15 that has not taken the course is required to take it.

There is no preregistration. For more information call the Sheriffs Office at 675-3331.

Life Enrichment Series Continues

The Rappahannock Healing Arts will continue their weekly life enrichment series on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Rappahannock Library. Using Your Body With Ease will be the topic and you can learn to release body tension for effortless movement, increased stamina and flexibility. Use conscious awareness to benefit balance, coordination, dance, singing, work habits, back pain, or whatever your daily activities with Karen Johnson Loving, Certified Massage Therapist and Alexander Teacher-inTraining. The series will conclude on Oct. 24 with Herbs as Medicine. All sessions are free and the time is 7:30 to 9p.m. Call 987-7204 for more information.
