Three rifles were stolen from Jon Howard's house on Sundale Farm Lane inAmissville last Thursday.
Major Rick MacWelch of the Sheriffs Office said that the daytime burglary took place after a door window was knocked out. The matter is under investigation, and Major MacWelch said there is a possible suspect.
