A reception followed in the Great Room with dance music provided by DJ Steven Harding, who also co-owjis Mountain Side <Store in GrifFinsburg. The wedding party stayed both Friday and Saturday nights and were.,a delight.
Sunday morning was hectic with wedding checkouts and the shifting of the furniture in the Great Room to prepare of the afternoon birthday party of Olivia Shapiro £of Washington, DC. Olivia and her'^husband, Michael were former guests at Thistle Hill, and when Olivia found herself thinking about having a party for a "significant" birthday,, she thought back to the wonderful ipe#ls prepared by Charles. The menu consisting of a choice of four entries, appetizer, salad and choice of dessert, was prepared with vegetarian tastes taken into consideration. It was so successful that Charles has decided to offer the menu through December for holiday eating. )
