The U-6|team coaches have been * working with the parents to help teach their young players to use both feet in kicking the ball and other ball-handing skills. They are having a lot of fun playing small-sided games against each other and developing skills.
Rappahannock's U-8 soccer teams all had great games last Saturday. RAPP 1 coached by Rob Parrish, played to a 3-3 tie against RAPP 3, coached by Tom Pendleton. Mr. Pendleton said, "It was a great game, a lot of fun, and very competitive." Both groups played well as teams. The RAPP 2 team, coached by Mark Wallace, played an evenly matched MADISON 4 team, losing by only one goal. The improvements in the U-8 players during the season have been terrific to see.
