The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company recently recognized Nancy Jones, of Flint Hill, with an outstanding community service award.
Ms. Jones is a contributing member of the Flint Hill VFC who raised over $12,000 selling chances on the 1996 truck which was raffled off at the annual Fireman's Carnival.
Vice President Ed Marcey, speaking for the Fire Company, commended Ms. Jones for her exceptional efforts saying, "This was the third year in a row that Nancy Jones has been the leader in ticket sales for this raffle.
