"Any hard data we can obtain about deer damage is greatly welcomed," said Wilmer Stoneman, an assistant director of public affairs with the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation. "The bottom line is there is far too much agricultural damage in Virginia resulting from too dam many deer."
The survey was designed to determine the severity of deer damage to crops and other plants.
