Katzen (R-3Ist District) said he could get state help for the Sperryville sewer system if it is needed. Mr. Johnson said Del. Katzen reported he had received numerous calls from people in Sperryville complaining about the rate increase. The WSA did not take any action on Del. Katzen's offer.
They adopted a motion to ask all plant employees to keep a log of their daily activities from Nov. 20 through Dec. 20 and to have it available for the WSA at the January meeting.
Member Richard Smith said the logs were needed to determine if. the school system is paying its fair share of the cost of operators. He said the people in Sperryville who were being asked to pay higher rates were also entitled to know how their money is bding spent.
The members agreed to hold an additional meeting this week to adopt a budget for the current year.
