I'm going to give you a couple of tips on how to recycle some of your garbage. First, don't ever pollute or litter. Also don’t burn or throw away any of your aluminum, glass or plastic containers. Go to the Washington Fire Hall or the County Landfill to recycle your trash.
Keep all your recyclable garbage in a separate trash can. When necessary, empty the trash can in a recycling center.
When you go on a walk, pick up the trash you see on the ground and recycle all the garbage that you can. Participate in county clean-up1 efforts, support recycling proposals before the Board of Supervisors and help others to learn how easy and beneficial it is to recycle.
If everyone does their share, Rappahannock County may become one of the cleanest and most healthy places ever known.
