The team has been practicing for ! less than two weeks. Coach Baltimore \ sa'd that all the players come into ; practice with a good attitude. "We will ; have to work hard as a team," he said, ’.adding that he will miss last year’s players Willie Eastham, Jason Carter and Jon Butler. Last year, said the ; coach, Willie stepped up and took , charge of the team. He is looking to Jeff Atkins to do that this year.
At times we will look sharp and at times you .will see inexperience." _'said the coach, who is beginning his third year of coaching the RCHS team. He said hi$ team will have to give 100 ^ percent all the time.
"I really think we will be okay. I don't know until the games are being played how we will do," said the coach.
The varsity and junior varsity •teams will play scrimmages against .Handley this Saturday morning at *RCHS, with junior varsity playing at 10 a.m. followed by varsity. " Junior varsity coach Jason Oochenour was proud of his team ■winning three out of four quarters in a ■’scrimmage at Randolph Macon ♦ Academy last Saturday, after they had had only four days of practice.
