One din in late fall, little Jessica

| tugged at her mother's hand,

j and headed toward the front ! sard. "Mom." she exclaimed. • nearly in tears, "my big old climbing tree is almost bald, like Grandpa got when he was old and sick before he died and went to heasen! Is my tree going to die like Grandpa?" “No, Jessica," Mom reassured her. "It just looks that way.” "But how do you know?” Jessica cried. "It still lives inside.” explained her mother, “where Grandpa's soul lived when he died and went to live with God. Your tree will look alive again when spring comes, because it lives inside." Jessica was puzzled. "But how do you know?” Mom was patient. "Because of our faith in what God has promised us. Just believe me. Jess." Our Lord says in John 20:29. "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." That is how we know. As you worship this week, go to God as a child and just believe.
