Mrs. Werner began her business in early September. "I wanted to stay home with our kids. I was commuting to Woodstock, and it was 12 hour days," she said. She did that for nine months, and in the meantime also found it difficult to find affordable childcare in the county. - . By starting her own business, Mrs. Werher said that she wanted to provide affordable childcare in a safe environment in Rappahannock, and she claims to be the only family home ehildcare business in Rappahannock that is state licensed. That includes serving the children food according to USDA guidelines.
