misses her family and friends from home sometimes.
Mr. Metcalfe is a pilot, and Adrianna Has been able to travel because of that. So far she has been to Arizona, Ohio and Rhode Island. She said she "loves to travel."
She enjoys playing tennis and riding horses and may try to play on the softball team in the spring.
Jeannie McNear and Geneva Welch are area representatives for Youth for Understanding. They would like to hear from families interested in hosting foreign exchange students next year or from local students interested in being exchange students abroad themselves.
The Americans Abroad program includes full-year programs, half-year programs and summer only programs.
Some of the summer programs center on sports and the American students travel about on learns. Others are family exchanges like the school year programs.
