The Town of Washington is putting on a spectacular, festive Bicentennial Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 14, featuring a group which will play fyfes, drums and trumpets in colonial costumes and later in the program will change into toy soldiers for a Christmas performance.

The founding of the town 200 years ago is being combined with the annual Christmas celebration for children of all ages. Carolers will be strolling the streets throughout the day.
