Education Group To Meet

The First Thursday Education Support Group will meet on Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office on Gay Street. Out topic will be “What teachers see as priorities for educating our children, short term and long term.” Bring a friend; all are welcome. "All-American Holiday" at RCES

On Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9:15 a.m. and at 7 p.m. the kindergarten and second grade students will present their musical program “An AllAmerican Holiday.” The fifth grade chorus and the sixth and seventh grade chorus will also fie included in the event. The community is cordially invited to attend these performances. All visitors are asked to report to the Main Office 15 minutes prior to the performances. Hunter's Breakfast Buffet

You are invited to enjoy a warm, hearty breakfast to benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department with a donation of $7 for adults/$3 for children. You will have your choice of made-to-order eggs or omelets, pancakes, homefries, grits, homemade applesauce, bacon, sausage, toast, juice and coffee. “Please join us on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 7:30 to 11 a m. at the Washington Fire Hall,” said an organizer.

Christmas Food Drive at RCES

Rappahannock County Elementary School students will have the opportunity to learn that giving can be as rewarding as receiving by participating in the ninth annua) Christmas food drive.
