On Sunday, March 16, a Hawaiian Beach Party was held for area teenagers at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. The party, attended by 35 teenagers, was hosted by “Friends to Mom,” an organization dedicated to aiding pregnant teenage mothers and their babies. The church hall was decorated with pictures of Hawaii and beach props. Everything from the music of the Beach Boys to the tropical refreshments displayed the Hawaiian theme.
