Miss Rappahannock Pageant Set

The annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant sponsored by the Sperryville ' [ Volunteer Rescue Squad will be held at 7 p.m. on April 26 at Rappahannock * County High School. Rehearsal will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. The pageant will be open to all single female residents of Rappahannock, ages 2-19 and boys, ages 2-6. There will be a Mother/Daughter and Sisters’ Category. Sponsor fee for each contestant will be $20. Join in on an evening of fun! Pageant admission $4 adults and $3 children. Benefit Auction Planned

The annual Rappahannock Lions Club benefit auction will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 6 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Anyone wishing to donate items should contact Roger Andrews, 987-8974 or Hal McDermott, 675-1028.

CPR Heartsaver Class Set

A CPR “Heartsaver” class has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at 6 p.m. in the Education Department Conference room on the second floor at Warren Memorial Hospital. You must pre-register for this class. For information and to register, contact the Education Department at 636-0314.

Clothing Give-Away Planned

Project Share My Heart will be having a Clothing Give-Away on April 4 and 5. Clothing will be available for men, women and children of all sizes. On April 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. and April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Warrenton. Follow the signs from Main Street to Meetze Road, turn right on Duhollow Road and proceed for approximately 300 feet. Spring Event Planned

The Washington Baptist Church Spring Event will be held Saturday, April 26. There will be a Silent Auction, plants, baked goods, sandwiches, drinks and Grandma’s Attic. “We are in need of good saleable items for Grandma’s Attic donations of bake goods and new items for the silent auction,” said an organizer. All proceeds from this event will go toward the building fund. Cash donations will also be accepted.

A.V.F.D. To Hold Auction

Arts, Craft Show Set

There will be an Arts and Crafts Show at Lord Fairfax Community College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 19. Over 100 tables of • Arts and Crafts will be displayed. Food will be served. Admission is free but a non-perishable food item for the benefit of the local food bank would be appreciated. The show is sponsored by the local chapter of Phi Beta . ’ Lambda (Future Business Leaders of America).
