Mr. Greenlee’s work as a construe-) tion and farm laborer spanned anera J beginning in the late 1930s as a mem-) ber of President Roosevelt’s Civilian j Conservation Corps in Bolton, N.C. - >
Later he was employed by Canton ! Construction Company and the lataJ Melville Spellman of Amissville. fK** worked on major Fairfax residential developments and other construction, and fanning 'jobs throughout; Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties.
In 1980, Mr. Greenlee joined late Ranee L. Spellman, farm managiK of Points of View Fan$*!! Rappahannock County, where -Mi) worked until his retirement. - - [
Bom in Marion, N.C., Mr. i Greenlee was the oldest of seven ; six brothers and a sister. His marriage. > to Geneva Butler ended in divorce.. ) •
He is survived by one of his three! children, John Edward Greenlee, tff! Brooklyn, N.Y. His daughter, Shiriej£ ! and son, Arthur, predeceased tunj! | Survivors also include his broflk*, \ Thurman L. Greenlee of Old Fort; | N.C.; five grandchildren and nine; great-grandchildren.
