Rappahannock’s strong defense led by Fletcher and Payne kept Luray from scoring the tying run.

Fletcher was the winning pitcher. She gave up nine hits, while striking out five and walking twelve. Luray’s Arrington gave up six hits and walked twelve batters. Julie Atkins led Rappahannock’s offensive attack going 2-4, with a triple and a single. Fairbrother, Fletcher, Taylor and Kerr also got hits for Rappahannock. The Lady Panthers play two games over spring break and travel to Luray on Monday.
