The presentation opened with a video called, “Sex, Lies, and the Truth” produced by Focus on the Family. Then Kathy Bigelow, a local Sunday School teacher at Reynolds Baptist Church and an inspiring speaker, addressed the teens about the importance of abstinence. The teens were asked to sign commitment pledges of their own if they wished and to paste them on a map of Hawaii, signifying their commitment to a life of chastity before marriage. The night ended with pizza and dessert for all.
