The Rappahannock School Board held a meeting July 17 to discuss future goals and planning.
Initially there was a discussion about the language and details of the roof contract. Wise and Associates engineering firm is to advise the board on cost saving and inspect to see that work is done as stated in the contract.
The building inspector is ■ only required to see that there is compliance with the building code.
The board chose “Indy Green” for the roof color. Board member Ron Makela suggested that the board take out a building permit for the roof and that they check Hale and White’s license and insurance liability.
