She noticed that there was something distinctly different about the teachers who taught this technique. They appeared to Karen to almost float as they walked and their movements seemed effortless.
The course for the technique was another 1600 hours and the first part of the course was spent re-leaming the fine art of balanced, elegant movement, which we all learn, more or less, by the time we’re two. We then spend the rest of our lives forgetting how effortless it can be to move about, Karen said.
She felt it was exciting and the technique is widely used throughout Europe and the U.S. The Julliard School has 11 teachers who instruct the technique and the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., has several. The medical profession is also taking notice of the technique. For
