The Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Farm Show is July 25-28 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29 south of Culpeper. Farm Show catalogs are at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. Please stop by and pick one up.
Physicals to be given
Virginia High School Physicals will be given on Aug. 6. The physicals will being at 2 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. Any Rappahannock County High School student planning on participating during the 1997-98 sports season should get a physical. The V.H.S.L. physical form is available at the high school. Any question please call Mr. Michael Tupper, at 987-8575.
PTO meeting planned
Epiphany Catholic School will hold its monthly PTO meeting on Wednesday, July 30, at 7 p.m. in the Precious Blood Catholic Church Parish Hall. All parents of children attending Epiphany this Fall are invited to attend. Anyone else interested in sending their children to Epiphany this Fall are also welcome to attend. Uniforms are in! Please pick up your uniforms at Jackie’s Uniform in Culpeper.
Art exhibit in the nest
Dulaney Hollow Bed and Breakfast and Antiques cordially invites you to the opening reception presenting the Momotypes of the Blue Ridge by Tucker Hill and Chinese Brush Paintings — “Flower & Bird” by Charlene M. Fuhrman-Schultz on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 19 ever Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Dulaney Hollow in Etlan (Madison County); partial proceeds will benefit The Blue Ridge Foothills Conservancy. Auction planned at Washington
Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue will sponsor an auction on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. Items are needed for this fundraiser. Donated items can be brought to the fire department or call 675-3615 for pick-up by members.
