While crowds were forming outside for the “Democratic Homecoming,” a reception was held in the home of Larry and Joy O’Rourke for Lt. Gov. Beyer. After greeting the guests, Lt. Gov. Beyer pledged himself, as governor,. to maintain the rural traditions and environmental heritage of Rapp-ahannock and surrounding counties.
