Angie Jenkins celebrated her birthday on Saturday, July 19. Her fiance, Andy Baldwin hired a limousine for the occasion. Joining Andy and Angie for the ride around Sperryville, west to Luray, via 340 into Front Royal, returning to Blue Moon in Sperryville for birthday cake were Dean Atkins, Neal Atkins, James Jenkins, Richie Dwyer and Timothy Jenkins.
Earlier, the limousine had provided Linda Dwyer with a ride to the Blue Moon. The group had a wonderful time and we wish Angie many more delightful birthdays.
On Friday Barbara Wayland entertained with a luncheon at her home for business managers, general managers and other executives from Times Community Newspapers. A business meeting followed the luncheon. Barbara’s husband, Billy was chief chef while Tiffany enjoyed entertaining three of the Arundel’s grandchildren.
Mrs. Annie B. Payne was honored with a birthday party on Sunday, July 20 at the Sperryville Fire Hall. Mrs. Payne was 80 years old.
