have been an accident, we stopped too, and to a great surprise there in a large tree beside the road were four bear cubs, the mother bear wandering nearby. The vast number of people didn’t seem disturbing and finally mother bear crossed the road in front of our car made her rounds near the tree and off into the mountains. Soon all the cubs came down the tree and followed her. What a beautiful sight!
