On Friday, August 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. a special missionary program followed by a covered dish dinner will be held at the Sperryville Fire Hall.
The theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School is “Whatever You Did For One of the Least of These Brothers of Mine, You Did For Me.”
All area youth and their families and friends are invited to come enjoy a fun filled week of stories, music, snacks, games and crafts.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church would like the public to join them in sending get well cards to Craig Shirgold. Craig is seven years old and has an inoperable brain tumor. His only wish is to break the record for receiving the most get well cards. The church encourages everyone to help make Craig’s wish come true.
