Teachers from Rappahannock High School will discuss the successes and challenges they are facing in teaching the children, including the new SOL tests and their effects on instruction, and the impacts of block scheduling. The February meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library.

First Thursday Education Support Group meetings are open to everyone. “We strive to educate ourselves about important issues and foster constructive solutions to problems. Our meetings often focus on a particular topic, but we encourage discussion of other educational issues as well,” said a spokesperson.
