Annual Transition Fair slated

The Rappahannock Athletic Association has announced the following dates and times for registration: Saturday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 20. All registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. All new players signing up must bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. Valentine’s dinner planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary is having its annual Valentine’s dinner on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. The meal will consist of half-barbecued chicken with wild rice, mashed potatoes, peas, rolls, garden salad, homemade desserts and beverages. Prices are $8.50 for adults, couples $15 and children under eight will be $3. The meal will be prepared by Pat Jenkins and Company. Carry-out service will be available.
