Affie Andes

Sperryville resident

Affie Lee Andes, 86, of Sperryville died on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Oak Springs of Warrenton.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Andes.

Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Curtis of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Beatrice Newman of Alexandria; two brothers, Clarence Williams of Falls Church and Eugene Williams of Washington, D.C.; three sisters-in-law, Roberta Williams of Sperryville, Annie Bell Williams and Joyce Williams, both of Washington, D.C. and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 with the Rev. Henry Townes of Culpeper officiating. Interment will be in the family section of the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
