On Feb. 4 at about 5:03 p.m., Kelly Hitt, 18, of Sperryville was iryured in a single-vehicle wreck on Route 231, south of Route 707 near Sperryville
According to a report filed by Trooper Chuck Moore, Hitt ran off the right side of the road, over corrected, and went off the right side of the road again, striking several trees. He was injured, and his 1995 Hyundai received $5000 in damage. Hitt was charged reckless driving by Trooper Moore.
• A single-vehicle crash at around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 resulted in injuries for . a Sperryville woman.
According to a report filed by Trooper Sean Kniek, Nerissa Roberts, 21, was southbound on Route 628 south of Route 606 outside of Washington when she came around a curve and wait off the right side of the road. She then hit an embankment, and overturned.
She was injured, and her 1995 Hyundai received $6000 in damage. Trooper Knick has charged Roberts with driving under the influence.
