Amissville Baptist Church is holding a Valentine’s Day banquet on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall hosted by the church’s youth. Please sign up at church so enough food will be prepared. Child care will be provided.
Jeffersonton Baptist Church is hosting a Valentine’s Day “Love Excursion” on Saturday, Feb. 13 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Jeffersonton Community Center. Everyone is invited to bring your favorite prepared dish to share. There will be adult supervision and special activities at the church for all children.
The pictures for the directory for Amissville Baptist Church members had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Pictures will be taken on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 using the original time slots. If you need to make a change or sign up, call Kendra Bailey at 937-3755.
Culpeper County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 for parent/teacher conferences. Conferences for the elementary school will be held from noon until 7 p.m. with the middle and high school conferences running from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. With report cards coming out this week, a few parents may have something to discuss with their child’s teacher.
