The sheriff responded that the office had notified all county “mom-and-pop” stores after the robbery at Mayhugh’s Store on Jan. 10.

He added that Capt. Jeffrey Brown and Retired Senior Volunteer Program Coordinator Jeanie McNear were starting a telephone tree for senior citizens.
