brides are sure to enjoy. Here they are encouraged to sit and stay awhile, browsing through catalogs of shoes, veils, jewelpr, invitations and tuxedos, making decisions slowly and carefully.

“I can give the bride a comfortable environment where she can relax and enjoy the planning process,” Stem said. “It’s my job to help them feel like they’re queen for the day.”

Once the decisions have been made, Stem serves as a liaison for the bride. She places the orders and makes sure the gown, dresses and other items are inspected for flaws. If alterations are needed, she can recommend seamstresses in the area who specialize in tailoring formalwear.

“Working with me, brides get their merchandise when it is perfect and don’t have to worry about them when they are not,” she said.

Stem said she’s also become a specialist in getting last-minute items for final touch-ups on the event. “Sometimes no matter how well a bride plans,” she said, “there’s something she forgets, and we can help get those last few items in a time crunch.”

Contact Mary Stem at (703) 7530853 or on the Internet at www.abridesdream.com. This newly designed web site will simplify getting gown quotes and showcase wedding accessories at discounted prices by mid-February.
