Samantha Breeden
Home: Washington Accomplishments: Samantha is a sophomore at Rappahannock High School, where she serves as secretary for the band and chorus (as well as performing in both). She was recently accepted into the Governor’s School at the University of Richmond, where she will take part in a four-week program. , Outside of school, Samantha is active in church. She sings in the choir at Jeffersonton United Methodist Church, and helps out with other church choirs in the area. For instance, she sings in the Easter and Christmas cantatas at Washington Baptist Church. She also participates in Bland, sponsored by the Lions’ Club, and has finished first at the county level for two straight years and was second place at the district level this year.
