impact of the Civil War on Rappahannock and neighboring counties, Gannon has initiated the establishment of a Rappahannock County Civil War Round table. Nearly twenty people have signed up for the round table so far, and he is soliciting others who may have an interest.
Gannon expects that the round table will meet monthly at the bookshop, starting in September, and hopes that research conducted by the round table will lead to a book about the effect of the war on local people. Additional information is available by emailing Jim Gannon at gannonjp@summit.net.
