Sperryville’s Memorial Day. weekend celebrations included the first of an annual Sperryville Civil War Days. Conceived and coordinated by Jim Gannon of the Old Sperryville Bookshop, and sponsored by the bookshop and by the Faith Mountain Company, Civil War Days events included a series of talks by Civil War authors, performances of Civil War period music at the bookshop and at Faith Mountain by the Tuscarora Brass Band, and open Civil War discussions at the bookshop.
