Sunday at 7:30 p.m. is the Baccalaureate Service for the 1999 graduating class at Rappahannock County High School.
Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons entertained with a cook-out. The occasion was in combination with Memorial Day and Edie Falls’ birthday.
Among the guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Richie Eastham Snd family of Culpeper, Mrs. Edna Vaught and Mrs. Kitty Settle of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Amanda and Bobbie Jo.
On Saturday, May 29 Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mrs. Edie Falls traveled to New York City by way of Schnocks Sightseeing Service for the day. They toured Manhattan, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, NBC Studios and other places of interest.
They also enjoyed a beautiful buggy ride through Central Park. Shopping places included Macys, F. A. O. Schwarz Toy Company and Pier I before departing New York we had dinner at Harley Davidson Cafe. The day was enjoyable and Edie had New York cheese cake for her birthday.
