This is a long over-due public

thank you for the wonderful Fire and Rescue service that we enjoy as residents of Amissville.

On Easter Sunday night, my husband, Elmer Reedy, suffered a heart attack.

Those dedicated public servants responded in a “flash”. Their professional know-how and expertise helped save his life.

They got him to Fauquier Hospital in record time (around midnight). He was admitted around 3:30 a m. on April 5. The care and concern was so great that they stopped to check on him about two hours later when they “rescued” another resident.

Subsequent to his stay at Fauquier Hospital, he was admitted to Fairfax Hospital where he underwent by-pass surgery. He came through “with flying colors.”
