What a difference a week makes. Or maybe it was the change of venue. Whatever the cause, my first experience with Psycho Billy, at a private party near Flint Hill, left much to be desired. Bad (or no) acoustics, thunderstorm, too small an event for the hard driving Billy crew ... it did not do them justice.
Saturday at The Blue Moon in Sperryville was like day and night. Solid crowd, a more than adequate PA system, and sound by Andrew Smith of Stick ‘Em Up juiced Psycho Billy and, in turn, the Rappahannock rockers attending.
