Benefit dinner at
Amissville VFD
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is sponsoring a fried chicken dinner on April 8 from 5. to 8 p.m. at the fire hall. Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages five to ten and children under four may eat for free.

• Monday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m., at the town hall there will be a Town of Washington Waste Water Committee public meeting to review work performed to date and discuss status regarding development and implementation of a Waste Water Collection and Treatment System.
• Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30 the Washington Town Council will meet at the town hall. Subjects include a public hearing on procurement of land for a waste treatment facility and an alternate well location and preliminary discussion of the 2000/2001 budget.
• Monday, April 17 - Monday, April 24: Spring holiday break for Rappahannock public school system. Return to school on Tuesday, April 25.
