Annabelle Edwards

Annabelle E. Edwards, 69, of Remington died on Tuesday, March 28 at her residence.

She was bom on Aug. 8, 1930 in Pocohontas County, W.Va., a daughter of Nettie and Henry Phillips.

She and her late husband, Archie W. Edwards ran the community store in Remington for 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard Ray Wilson Sr. and Steve W. Wilson, both of Culpeper; one daughter, Patricia Ann Brooks of Culpeper; three sisters, Linda Frazier of Amissville, Virginia Blankenship and Jean Scroggins, both of Culpeper and one brother, Harold Phillips of Shenandoah.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 30 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Holly Cemetery in Remington.
