The Town of Washington, Rappahannock County has a part-time position available for a Maintenance/Repair Person. This position averages 80 hours per month at a rate of $8 to $10.00/hour depending upon experience. Employee is responsible for maintaining town facilities to include the town water system, landscaping, town cleanliness and other work as required. In addition, employee must be reasonably available for emergencies and willing to work hours required to resolve emergency situation. Employee should have a vehicle capable of carrying supplies, good driving record, experience in general maintenance, plumbing and mechanical repair. Employee must be capable of supervising support personnel and volunteer workers. Tools required will be provided by the town. Employee must have a Waterworks Operators License Class 4 or be willing to undergo training and complete requirements for such license.
