ties and cities will be holding caucuses and will elect a total of 3,500 delegates and 1,750 alternates who will go to the Congressional District Conventions and to the State Convention. The County Caucuses are to be held either on Saturday, April 15 or on Monday, April 17. The Rappahannock Democratic Committee chose Monday evening, the 17th for its Caucus because the Fodderstack Race is being held on Saturday, April 15 and there are many democrats who are planning to run/walk the race. Each county will choose delegates and alternates who are pledged to presidential candidates. In Rappahannock we are allotted five delegates and two alternates.
