clean-up set
Earth Day spring clean-up will be held on Saturday, April 22 at n Rappahannock County Park. Details: All county residents, friends, visitors, absentee landowners, guests, etc. are invited to help participate in a clean-up and pot-luck picnic at the county park, located on U.S. 211 just outside of Washington.
Participants are encouraged to bring work/play clothes and casually enjoy our wonderful facility while cleaning up along the banks of the Rush River and the trails and woods •' leading down to it. If pos"sible, there may be some tree planting and trim- - ; k ming.
There are numerous opportunities for sports activities also, so bring frisbees, tennis racquets, ., basketballs and such for recreational enjoyment. There are grills for cooking both at the pavilion % ■■ by the parking lot and down by the river.
