Culpeper Pregnancy Centers, Walk tor. Life. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. at the Culpeper Baptist Church and the walk begins at 9. All proceeds go to benefit the pregnancy center.
The Acteens of Amissville Baptist Church went on the Acteens Weekender this past week at Camp Little Crossroads. Wanda DeLong and Debbie Ferdetta were the chaperones.
The girls that went were: Meagan and Michelle Kennedy, Megan Humbles, Jenny Green, Eva and Sarah Mills, Emma Clough, Lauren Herbert and Danielle North. The girls had a great time, and were worn out when they got' back.
This is the first week of the month, so lets see who is having a birthday: Pat Sher, Karen Wilson, Davey Torrance,' Sean Cordani, Charlotte Mills, Christina Robinson, Jordan Torrance, Gus Norris,. Beverly Burke, Norman Bower, and my nephew, Thomas Adams.
Happy anniversary to the following: Glenn and Beverly Burke and James and Edna Gough.
Well that is all for this week, don’t forget the fireman’s carnival and Vacation Bible School is the last week in June. Any ideas on what to do to the preacher if we get 175 children, let me know.
